We learnt that some candidates who have registered for the 2017 UTME have been given a date to reprint their registration slips as to know the exact venue or centre, Time and date they will take the examination.
The date to reprint the registration slips is indicated on the candidates’ registration printout.
Many candidates may not have taken note of this.


The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform candidates for the 2017 UTME to start checking for their CBT centres and venue form today, 8th May.
According to the JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who made this disclosure, candidates are to access their centres by logging in to their profile from the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
He said the examination will still commence on Saturday, 13th May and assured candidates that necessary machinery has been put in place to ensure a hitch free exercise.

Benjamin disclosed that the board had so far registered more than 1.7 million candidates for the 2017 UTME across the country.
The board concluded the sale of 2017 UTME application document in a grand style recording over 1.7 million candidates at the close of the site by 12 midnight on Friday, May 5, 2017.
The JAMB’s spokesman who described the figure as unprecedented however assured that adequate facilities had been put in place to accommodate the upsurge in the number of candidates.
He urged candidates who may experience any hitches during the examination not to panic so as not to fall into the hands of fraudsters while assuring that the board would be available to address their complaints.
